Before God created man, He made provision on the earth for his every physical need, symbolizing the great protective love of God for His creatures. The lancets to the left and right of the center symbolize the creation of grass and grain, flowers, fruits, grapes and vine. In the center we see the "tree of knowledge of good and evil."
