Ministries
At its heart, Broadway is about family in all the ways that describe family. We care for our youngest and our oldest and all who fall between, and we care for those who have no one else who cares. As children of God we acknowledge a kinship with all those who call Him Father, not only within our congregation, but outside and around the world.
Great emphasis is placed on friendship, Bible study, spiritual formation, relationship and fellowship. The Shepherd Ministry daily prays for and contacts those who are ill or homebound or celebrating a special occasion. Stephen ministers are trained for one on one support for those experiencing difficult times. An annual grief service is conducted for those who have experienced loss of loved ones. The Blessings of Christmas takes holiday cheer and gifts baskets to homebound members. We break bread around the tables. We play together, celebrate together, laugh together and grieve with and for each other. We are family, with room for more at the table.
