The Senior Adults Inter-NETWORKER
The Inter-NETWORKER is the newsletter to link Broadway's adults with activities and information. The INTERNETS are a fellowship of "over-50" adults, their friends, spouses and prospective members. The programs are designed for opportunities to know one another better, make new friends and share activities through travel, game days, parties, retreats, dinners, worship study, work and ministries.
What's In A Name
The Senior Adult Council began processing thoughts and ideas toward establishing a ministry to the senior adults with Broadway's congregation. One issue was then naming of the group. Suggestions included Adult Fellowship, Senior Adult Club, Broadway Adult actives, But the idea was to express communication, out-reach, active learning and mind-set.
Thus, The Internets became the name of choice, and the "over-50" adults are continuing to inter-network!
The Internotes Broadway's Internotes (our Senior Adult Choir) is a wonderful body for fellowship and song. Keep in mind the one goal is to make wonderful music the first priority of fun. Whether you sing or whether you don't, you would be welcome to join the group, both males and females, just like the ark. Rehearsals are from 1:00 to 2:00 each Tuesday afternoon in the choir room. Sandy Nelson is the director.
Here are a few of the other events The Internets enjoy:
The Annual Mid-winter Party!
The Summer Spiritual Retreat!
